Air travel from India to UAE from today: Many tests will be done due to Delta variant, only visa holders who take two doses will be allowed

 India to Dubai flights are starting from Wednesday. In view of the danger of the Delta variant, Dubai has announced a new protocol for passengers coming from India. Under this, only travelers to India with a valid residence visa will be allowed who have received both doses of vaccines (Pfizer, Covishield, Sinopharm and Sputnik) validated by the UAE government.

Passengers will also have to give a negative report of the RTPCR test taken 48 hours before departure. Only RTPCR reports with QR code will be accepted. Passengers will also have to undergo RTPCR test 4 hours before the departure of the flight. There will be another test of the passengers upon arrival at Dubai airport.

The passengers will have to remain in institutional quarantine till the report comes. However, UAE citizens and diplomats are exempted from this. Emirates Airlines has confirmed that the UAE government is in no mood to take any risk with the Delta variant. Therefore, the condition of three layer testing and vaccination has been laid.

Industry hopes, Indian society also happy: Industry in UAE has also breathed a sigh of relief with this announcement. Entrepreneur Sanjay Patni said that many of our employees are in India, who were traveling or on leave, now they can come back. On the other hand Indian society is happy with the lifting of the ban.
