Earthquake in Leh: The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.6 on the Richter scale, even three months ago this ground was trembling

 

Earthquake tremors were felt in Leh, Ladakh on Monday morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, it had a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale. However, there is no report of any loss of life or property due to this. It is also not known where its center was. Earlier on 25 March there was an earthquake here. Then its intensity was 3.5.

Earth shook for the fourth time in 7 months

Earthquake tremors are being felt in Leh every one to two months for the last few days. Before March, there was an earthquake here on 27 September last year and again on 6 October. The magnitude of the earthquake in September was 3.7 and in October was 5.1.

Now low intensity earthquakes can be detected

The Ministry of Earth Sciences has decided to increase the monitoring of earthquake prone areas. Under this, 35 new monitoring centers will be opened across the country. These centers will start functioning in ten to 10 months. This will enable accurate monitoring of earthquakes in the country.
