Bokaro: In the Rangamati East Panchayat of Chandrapura block of Bokaro district of Jharkhand, the incident of assault is coming to the fore after a dispute between two sides with the officer who came to investigate the government scheme. In front of the officer who came to investigate, both the parties got entangled with each other and the fight started. Former head husband Mahendra Thakur suffered internal injuries in the incident, due to which he is being treated at Chandrapura DVC Hospital. The officer has accused the local chief and his associates of assault.

In this matter, Mukhiya Vidyanand Nand Kuliyar said that in the light of the application of the block head, there was a dispute between the two parties in front of JE Jai Kumar Gupta, JE Parameshwar Mahato and Panchayat Secretary P Mahato, who came to investigate the work done by the scheme. The chief said that after some time the officers called me to the hill where there were already many people including Chandrapura Block Block Pramukh Anita Gupta, Mahendra Nath Thakur. From there everyone took me to the Panchayat Bhawan. During the investigation, the officer said who is the contractor, then I told Sarfaraz alias Attaullah.

                                

Further, the chief said that then Mahendra Thakur, who was present there, jumped and started using indecent words. He said that the public got angry with Mahendra's language and before the public could do anything, I slapped two and threw him out of the gate after persuasion. The chief said that during this time Madam kept doing videography.

At the same time, Mahendra Nath Thakur, who reached the hospital injured, said that he had come on Friday to investigate the government scheme in Rangamati Panchayat. In the course of this investigation, he was telling how irregularities have been done in the work. Government money has been withdrawn by repairing the drain of DVC.

The injured person further said that he was speaking, meanwhile an attempt was made to stop the investigation and a scuffle took place with me. During this time, I have been in a lot of pain due to the heavy beating in my chest. However, regarding the injury, the doctor told that treatment is being done. After the report has been sent for X-ray, something will be known and the patient is already suffering from hard disease which is also being treated. At the moment there is no such danger, everything is fine now.

In connection with the incident, SHO-cum-Inspector Nutan Modi said that applications from both the parties have been received regarding the matter. A case has been registered in the light of the application. Simultaneously, investigation is being done. The video of this incident is going viral on social media, in which the former chief is seen beating the husband by the chief.
