BSL's contract laborer got burnt as soon as he fell in the hot iron ladle

Contract laborer Kishore Tudu died while working in SAIL Bokaro. He died after falling on a ladle while working in Tudu Prabha Construction Company.

Kishore Tudu, a contract laborer working in a company named Prabha Construction, died after falling into a ladle filled with hot metal at Bokaro Ispat's Continuous Casting Shop at around 4:00 pm on Thursday. Kishore Tudu was a resident of Kamalapur in Jaridih block. He was around 35 years old.

 Came to work in the second shift on Thursday. During the smelting process at the Continuous Casting Shop, as in normal days, the ladle was coiled under the top fitting. He became unbalanced and fell in the ladle. which was filled with hot iron. Since its temperature is around 1100 degree Celsius. Therefore, even the body of the girl could not be retrieved.

A committee has been constituted by the management to investigate the cause of the accident. At the same time, various trade unions have demanded fixed benefits to the kin of the deceased and employment to his family. Presently the management is in talks with the labor leaders.
