In the meeting, the villagers told that the land adjacent to Thakur Dam (Plot No. 86 and 87 is Gairmajrua. Hundreds of families of Nawadih and Teliyadih come and go through this land for years.
People also take their cattle grazing through this land. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a person tried to cut the road by planting JCB for the purpose of capturing, which was strongly opposed by the villagers.The demand was raised in the meeting to keep this road undone.
It was said that this is Gair Majrua land. Whatever land documents have been made for the purpose of occupying it, it should be cancelled. Phanibhushan Mahato, Kedar Mahato, Jyotilal Mahato, Shivcharan Mahato, Raju Mahto, Arun Mahato, Bhushan Mahato, Sahdev Mahto, Janu Mahto, Kalicharan Mahto, Naresh Mahato, Vijay Singh, Bhikhan Karmali and many other men and women were present in the meeting.
