This claim has been made by the relatives of the arrested accused themselves.


Family members say that the police picked them up from their house in Bokaro two days ago. Nivaran Prasad Mahto employs vegetable and fruit street vendors in Bokaro, while Amit Singh is a daily wage labourer.

Special cell claims 3 accused arrested from Ranchi hotel, 2 lakh cash recovered

The entire action has been taken on the complaint of Congress's Bermo MLA Kumar Jaimangal Singh. On July 22, Jaimangal had written a letter to the Kotwali police station expressing the apprehension of horse-trading of MLAs.


The Special Branch claims that as part of a conspiracy to topple the government in Jharkhand, these people were staying in the hotel with a hefty amount for horse-trading. On Saturday, a case of sedition has been registered against the three accused at the Kotwali police station.


An FIR has been registered against Abhishek Dubey, Amit Singh and Nivaran Prasad Mahto at Kotwali police station. Sections 8/9 of the PC Act have been imposed on them along with sections 419, 420 124-A, 120B, 34 of the IPC and 171 of the PR Act.

According to the police, the three accused have revealed many secrets during interrogation. People arrested in other districts of the state are being investigated on the spot.

JMM's allegation- BJP wants to topple stable government

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya's statement has come in this matter. Bhattacharya has alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to topple the stable government of Jharkhand at the behest of the BJP. Big leaders of BJP have been trying to topple the Hemant government of the state for several months.


Bhattacharya said that after Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the BJP targeted Jharkhand as the next target, but their conspiracy failed.
