Difficult to travel in Patna: Traveling from Patliputra Bus Terminal is not easy, with time the distance is falling on the pocket; Now the burden has increased to Rs 100

Now the bus journey in Patna has become very difficult. Catching a bus is going to be heavy on both time and pocket. The journey from the city to the new bus terminal will not be easy. The arbitrariness of the auto drivers has made the journey completely difficult. The shifting of Mithapur bus stand to a completely new bus terminal has added to the difficulty. The administration may claim lakhs of facilities but now the journey has become expensive for the common people.

Rent of more than Rs 100 from boring road

Now if one has to go to Patliputra Bus Terminal to catch a bus from Boring Road, then more than Rs 100 will be charged. Also, keeping in mind the jam and distance, more time will have to be given. Earlier, people used to charge 15 to 20 rupees to go to Mithapur bus stand, but now the distance has become a compulsion. Private taxis and reserve autos will make travel more expensive. If you have to catch a bus at night then it will not be easy to get to the bus terminal. It will also be a big challenge for those who reach home by bus at night.

More difficult to travel in the rain

During the rainy season, the journey becomes even more difficult. It is a very difficult task to reach Patliputra Bus Terminal with people carrying goods in the middle of the water. This will further burden the families who are not able to reserve private vehicles or autos. For such people, the arrangement and travel of a new bus stand during the rainy season will be very troublesome. Due to lack of complete arrangement at the new bus terminal, there is a shortage of mud and other resources, although the administration claims that the system is complete. Apart from the administration's claim, passengers say that now it has become difficult to catch a bus from Patna.

Now no bus will be available from Mithapur

The administration has completely shifted the Mithapur bus stand to the newly constructed bus terminal at Bairia. Now no bus will be available from Mithapur. If you want to go to any area of Bihar, then you have to take care of reaching the bus stand before catching the bus. If the administration had run a bus from Mithapur to the new bus stand, the passengers would have got a lot of relief. After shifting the Mithapur bus stand to the newly constructed Patliputra Bus Terminal, a total of 1320 buses from different districts of Bihar were operated from Patliputra Bus Terminal on Saturday. Under this, 737 buses reached the terminal and 583 buses left for their destination. 52 buses of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation also operated from the newly constructed terminal.

How many buses for which district

115 for Nalanda, 52 for Sheikhpura, 205 for Nawada, 30 for Jehanabad, 117 for Muzaffarpur, 72 for Darbhanga, 57 for Madhubani, 137 for Samastipur, 48 for Chhapra, 50 for Purnia, Bus operations for other districts including 121 buses for Araria have started from the terminal. On Monday also the work of commuting of buses in the terminal is going on continuously. The administration claims that better and modern facilities have been provided in ISBT from Mithapur bus stand, which is beneficial for the passengers and bus owners.

Increased distance with convenience

According to the administration, Mithapur Bus Stand is spread over 8 acres while ISBT is spread over 25 acres in which necessary facilities have been provided by constructing building in 10 acres. There is a parking arrangement for buses in about 11 acres. Many times more facilities are available at Patliputra Bus Terminal than at Mithapur Bus Stand. 50 toilets, 14 mobile toilets, drinking water facility 12, passenger help desk facility 2, security personnel 60, sweeper 42, management branch 65, CCTV 10 have been arranged at the terminal. But the distance that has increased from these facilities is taking a toll on the people.

How to curb the arbitrariness of auto drivers

Adequate number of auto and city bus arrangements are being claimed at the terminal for smooth and smooth movement of passengers. But even after this the auto drivers are arbitrarily with the passengers. This creates a lot of trouble for the passengers in commuting. The journey from the city to Bairia is overshadowing the people. How to get to the new terminal is the big challenge. Auto drivers are charging exorbitant fares from people and there is no plan or control room with the administration to check this.

Bus stand shifted like this

Mithapur Bus Stand has been shifted to Bairia in a phased manner. Earlier, buses were run for Gaya and Jehanabad from February 15, while from June 15, buses were run from the terminal for Nawada Nalanda Jamui Sheikhpura. Mithapur bus stand completely shifted to Patalipu for remaining other districts.
