US President said - threat of terrorist attack on the army in Kabul, will have to be called back by August 31
US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that the US military would have to withdraw from Afghanistan by August 31 under any circumstances. The withdrawal of the army has to be started early, as the threat of terrorist attacks on the army is increasing.
He said that the sooner we can complete the withdrawal of the army, the better. Every day of operations there adds to the danger for us. The US President said that he has spoken to the leaders of the G7 countries about this and all the heads of state have agreed to it.
If you have to stop after the deadline, then you will prepare
Biden said he was expediting work to finish the rescue operation by August 31. Amidst the growing crisis in Afghanistan, leaders of several European countries were pressuring Biden to extend the last date of the rescue operation.
Regarding this, Biden said that it is necessary to meet the deadline of August 31. The Taliban is cooperating on this condition and is allowing the airport to be used to take people out of the country. He said- "I have spoken to the Pentagon and the State Department that if the army has to stay there after August 31, then prepare a time-table for that."
Taliban appeals to Afghans - do not leave your country
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid held a press conference on Tuesday. The Mujahid once again warned the US that NATO forces should leave Afghanistan under any circumstances by August 31. We are not in favor of extending its deadline. He requested America not to take capable people of Afghanistan.
Mujahid said that America should not encourage doctors, engineers and educated elite to come to their country. Also said that due to the atmosphere of chaos at the airport, they are not allowing Afghan citizens to go to the airport. The Taliban have asked Afghan citizens not to leave the country. Mujahid said that women should stay at home for their safety now.
