Bokaro: 19 girls migrating to Tamil Nadu detained by Railway Police

 

The girls told the railway police that they were asked to accompany them by a man named Mohammed Abdul from Ranchi, promising to get them work at a place called Tirapur in Tamil Nadu.

AKB NEWS Bokaro: Chandrapura rail station police in Jharkhand's Bokaro district on Thursday detained 19 girls going to Tamil Nadu for work for questioning.

Chandrapura railway station in-charge Prem Kumar Pandey said that three people including a woman going to Tamil Nadu by Dhanbad-Allappuzha Express are being questioned at the police station regarding these 19 girls taken into custody. According to Pandey, these girls from Bokaro, Dhanbad and Giridih districts have got tickets for Chennai Central Railway Junction and have told the police that they were going to Tamil Nadu for work.

According to the information, the girls told the Railway Police that they were asked by a person named Mohammad Abdul of Ranchi to accompany them by assuring them of work at a place called Tirapur in Tamil Nadu. According to the schedule, today all the girls reached to catch the Chandrapura Junction-Alleppey Express train. The police arrested all of them on the basis of secret information.

According to sources, all of them were to go to Tamil Nadu along with three others but they did not have the registration letter of the department concerned to go out of the state for work. After that the police is interrogating the parents of the girls who reached the police station on the information of Chandrapura Rail Station Police. After getting the information till the last information, the Deputy Superintendent of Railway Police of Dhanbad also reached Chandrapura railway station and started the investigation of the matter.
