Indian Railways News: Fly ash will reach the cement company of Bokaro and Jamshedpur by train, DRM will reach KTPS

 

DRM Ashish Bansal of Dhanbad Railway Division inspected KTPS, Banjhedih railway line. At the same time, a meeting was also held with the DVC management regarding the transportation of fly ash by train. During this, there was also a discussion on transporting fly ash by train to the cement company of Bokaro and Jamshedpur.

Ashish Bansal, Divisional Railway Manager of Dhanbad Railway Division, inspected the Koderma Thermal Power Station (KTPS), Banjhedih railway line on Wednesday. After the inspection, he held a meeting with the DVC management on the issue of transportation of fly ash by train. During the conversation in the meeting, it was told that there is a preparation to send fly ash to the cement factory of Bokaro and Jamshedpur from the same rake which comes in the power plant.

DRM told in discussion with the officials of DVC that the cost will also be less in this work. On this, the officials of thermal power showed positive thinking. Also agreed to take necessary steps on this. In such a situation, it is expected to be sent to Bokaro and Jamshedpur through fly ash train very soon. This work will also increase the revenue of the Railways.

The DRM also took stock of the place where the goods train derailed at the western end of Koderma station. During this, he also gave many guidelines to ensure train operation in a safe environment. DRM also took stock of the rail yard. Along with this, emphasis was laid on maintaining cleanliness in the station premises. DRM told that the construction of automatic ladder at Koderma station will be done soon.
