Oxygen plant ready in Bokaro's Sadar Hospital, know what is special in it

                          

Bokaro: In view of the third wave of Corona, an oxygen plant has been completed at Sadar Hospital in Bokaro. In such a situation, to supply the entire district, where the oxygen plant has now been built in Bokaro district, the RTPCR lab has also been ready in Sector 5 in Bokaro. That is, now there will be no lack of oxygen in the district, nor will there be a long wait for the report by sending any sample out for testing.

Actually, right now the third wave of Kovid-19 is being feared and it is believed that children will be affected the most. At the same time, crowds of children suffering from viral fever are also being seen in hospitals. Meanwhile, the Oxygen Plant at Sadar Hospital in Bokaro has been completely ready, but it is yet to be inaugurated. Testing was also done regarding this and it was seen how the plant is working.

• Plant has been installed from PM Care Fund

Oxygen Plant to be set up with PM Cares Fund has started functioning in Bokaro Sadar Hospital. This oxygen plant, which produces 1000 liters of oxygen per minute, has been set up by the private sector company Larsen & Turbo, while the design of the oxygen plant has been developed by the Defense Research and Development Institute (DRDO). 

Larsen & Turbo has been given the task of setting up PSA Oxygen Plants in 9 out of 24 districts of the state. Two plants have been installed in this, in which one has 1000 liters and the other has a production capacity of 500 liters per minute. That is, a total of 1500 liters of production capacity is to be done per minute through this plant.

• There will be more than 1500 liters of oxygen every minute

Giving information, the engineer who installed this plant said that every minute both the plants will produce 15 hundred liters of oxygen from natural oxygen and it can be transported in small cylinders to different places of the district. With the construction of this plant, now the shortage of oxygen in Bokaro district will be removed and in the coming times, there will be no chaos in other hospitals of the district including Sadar Hospital for oxygen.

• What's special?

The biggest feature in the design of DRDO is that this oxygen plant will produce as much oxygen as it needs. For example, if 10 patients are admitted in Sadar Hospital with the help of oxygen supported beds, then oxygen will be produced according to their consumption. If oxygen is not being needed on any bed, then the machine will go into automatic energy saver mode. 

While this will save energy on one hand, there will be no problem in running the plant. For the next one and a half years, technicians from Larsen & Turbo will oversee this oxygen plant. After that, if the district administration wants, then the work of maintenance of the machine can be given to Larsen & Turbo (L&T) or any other company.
