After Durga Puja in Bokaro, Jharkhand, the police has cracked down on the bike theft in the city area. Police has arrested 5 thieves with 10 stolen bikes. CT DSP Kuldeep Kumar has given this information to the journalists in his office room.


City DSP Mr. Kumar told that these stolen bikes were used in the crime. According to the police, the bike thieves gang operate the Inter District Gang. Also said that bikes were being stolen continuously from the city area. In this case, SIT team was formed with City, Sector 4 and Harla police stations.


The matter was investigated by the SIT team. During this, the police has succeeded in arresting 5 criminals. A total of 10 bikes have been recovered on their behest. In this, a bike has been recovered from Ramgarh police station area. The DSP said that after stealing the bikes, the gang members used these bikes for other crimes including chain snatching.


The bike was also sold in Bengal. The five criminals who have been arrested are Rajan Mishra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Raja Samrat Singh, Abdul Qudus Sah and Abhay Kumar. In the course of interrogation, these criminals have told that due to intoxication and lack of money, they carry out such incidents.
