In view of the coal crisis in power plants, coal companies have issued instructions to control the coal being given to other industries. In this regard, a letter has been written on behalf of the coal companies, while some verbal orders have been issued. It has been said in the letter that till the stock of coal in the power plants is not better, then the coal should be stopped in the road cell or supply to the plants from the road cell also.

ECL and CCL have issued a letter in this regard. BCCL sources said that an order has been given to the regional management in this regard. Not only this, the DO refund of many industries including hard coke was being done after the stock of coal in BCCL was already depleted.

 Many entrepreneurs and coal traders have complained in this regard. A senior coal official said that till the time the coal stock in the power plants gets better, the coal given to other industries through road sale is certain to be cut.

Coal companies have raced in view of the Centre's tough stand on the coal crisis. Every step is being taken to increase the supply to power plants so that the stock of power plants can be better.

• Don't stop coal laden goods train

In view of the availability of coal to power plants, the Railway Board has issued an order saying that coal laden goods trains like express trains should be given priority. Make arrangements for unimpeded movement of coal laden goods trains to power houses.

• Improve the situation

Due to increased supply of coal, the power situation in Jharkhand has started showing improvement. Jharkhand had a gap of up to 450 MW in comparison to the demand till two days ago, which was reduced to 200 on Tuesday. Load shedding stopped from night.
