Shopkeeper Mohan told that this time instead of Bihar, only the bananas ordered from West Bengal and Chennai will be consumed in the Prasad. This is directly affecting the price of bananas as well. There is a demand for 25 trucks of bananas in Bokaro during Chhath. For which the fruit traders have made their preparations.
400 to 600 rupees per piece: Banana cubes coming from West Bengal and Chennai are selling for 400 to 600 rupees per piece. Which is one and a half times more than last year. According to fruit seller JP, the sale of bananas has started. In view of this, bananas are being supplied by traders from West Bengal and Chennai.
On the other hand, shopkeeper Pradeep told that in Chhath itself, bananas worth 50 to 70 thousand rupees were sold per year, but due to the price of the fruit this year, even 15 thousand rupees have not come. The West Bengal banana is similar to the Hajipur banana.
