Bokaro News Bokaro: Efforts are on to set up a 1500 MW hydel pump storage plant proposed by DVC in Lugu Pahar area of ​​Tulbul Panchayat of Gomia block of Bokaro district. And after meeting with the officials related to DVC Hydel Pump Storage, consultations were held regarding setting up the plant.

CO Mr. Topno was informed about the plant by the officials associated with the plant through a map and also informed that 87 percent of the land for the construction of the hydel pump storage plant would be used by the forest department and 13 percent of the land would be GM land. Neither the land of any ryot is being taken for the establishment of the plant, nor the GM land in the possession of anyone, as well as information, was given regarding the land being taken for setting up the project.

Amit Kumar Singh, the senior divisional officer associated with the DVC Civil Department, said that neither the Lugu temple in Lugu hill nor the environment would be harmed due to the establishment of the project.

A mini check dam is to be constructed in a one-kilometer radius in the mountain and a check dam is to be constructed in Pindra and around a two-kilometer radius, for this, the construction of 2 offices has been agreed upon.

People have also been assured that you should not get confused at the behest of anyone because no one will be displaced and no damage will be done to the forest due to the installation of the project.
