AKB NEWS Bokaro: The birth anniversary of Iron Man Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated as National Unity Day. Run for Peace was organized by the district administration. Run for Peace started from Bokaro Airport and ended near the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Garga Bridge.

It was flagged off by SP Chandan Jha, DDC Jaikishore Prasad, and SDO Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat.

Along with the officers, the townspeople also ran for peace. Senior officials paid homage to the country's first home minister by garlanding the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Garga Bridge. Many people paid tribute to Sardar Patel by offering flowers near the statue. DDC administered the oath of unity, integrity, and security of the country to the general public.

On this occasion, the Superintendent of Police said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has played a special role in the unity of the country. After independence, he tried to tie the country in the thread of unity and got success. We should also remain dedicated to maintaining the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.

DDC said that Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in integrating various princely states into the Union of India. He has made a significant contribution to the independence of India. The path shown by him should be imbibed in his life.

 Chas SDO Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat said that Sardar Patel has taught us to maintain the unity of the country. Youth should learn from the thoughts of these great men and should always be ahead of social service.
