Bokaro: A meeting of the active members of Jai Jharkhand Mazdoor Samaj was held in Sector-9 office under the chairmanship of General Secretary BK Chaudhary. The members present in the meeting expressed strong objection to the decision of giving arrears from April 2020 in one voice and stressed intensifying the movement against SAIL Management and NJCS.
Chowdhary said that the NJCS leaders fully supported the strike on June 30 for the demands of the workers, but like before, this time too, sitting in the lap of the management, the NJCS leaders have done the work of signing the arrears. On the one hand, doing wage revision for 10 years instead of five years means that the workers are not getting the benefit of five years. At the same time, workers who contributed to production from 2017 to April 2020 have also been denied wage revision. It is unfortunate that there is no discussion on the demands of the contract workers.
In the coming time, the union will again give impetus to the movement by going among the workers. In the meeting, Shankar Kumar, NK Singh, RB Chaudhary, UC Kumbhakar, SK Singh, Anil Kumar, Roshan Kumar, Rajendra Prasad, Aashiq Ansari, Badal Koyri, OP Chauhan, Giani Mahto, RR Soren, BN Tiwari, Mohan Ram, Abhimanyu Manjhi, Janaki Thakur, RP Das, Omprakash, Suresh Prasad, Harendra Paswan, Vinod Kumar were present.
