Cancer victim's son of daily wage laborer is undergoing treatment in RIMS, Manav Seva Sangh helped
The Gomia Manav Seva Sangh of Bokaro has come forward to help in the treatment of Santosh Kumar Ravidas (25 years), suffering from cancer, during this time Pankaj, President of Manav Seva Sangh and Working President of Gomia Block Congress Committee regarding the cost of treatment. Pandey alias Tillu Pandey went to RIMS and helped financially on behalf of the Sangh.
Santosh Kumar Ravidas, a resident of Badkipunu village of Badkipunu Panchayat under Gomia block of Bokaro, was injured in one leg a year ago. This wound has taken the form of cancer. He has been getting treatment in various hospitals for the last one year, but instead of getting cured, the merge kept increasing. Santosh is financially weak. Her father Rajesh Ravidas is a daily wage labourer.
He was unable to get treatment for his leg wound due to a wound in his leg. He was lying in the house for a long time due to lack of money. He kept pleading with many people for their cooperation in getting the wound treated, but to no avail. He was very disappointed with life. Describing his pain, Santosh said that earlier people used to inquire about his well being, but now no one even receives his phone.
Cancer victim Santosh spoke to Prabhat Khabar and urged him to help. According to them, the doctors say that the treatment is going on at present, if it is not cured, then the leg can be cut over the wound so that the wound does not increase further. Only then will his life be saved. The members of Manav Seva Sangh of Gomia were requested for the treatment of Santosh, on which the members of the Sangh extended their hand and helped Santosh's mother Phulkumari financially by going to RIMS Hospital.
A unit of blood was also arranged after meeting the doctor. Social activist Abhay Sinha was also present during this.
