Road accident on NH-2 in Dhanbad: A speeding bus full of passengers rammed into a standing truck; 24 injured including driver, condition of 4 critical
A bus full of passengers in Rajganj police station area crashed near Domanpur on NH-2 around 3 am on Wednesday. 24 people including the bus driver were injured in the accident. Of these, the condition of four remains critical. The cause of the accident is believed to be the driver of the bus having a nap. Due to this the speeding bus went out of control and hit the truck parked on the roadside from behind. After the incident, the injured were rushed to the hospital with the help of local people and police.
The bus named Roshan was going from Chhapra (Bihar) to Kolkata and in the meantime this accident happened. Here, after the accident, the driver fled from the spot with the truck. The collision was such that the front of the bus was completely damaged and the main gate was locked.
Hearing the sound of the collision, the local people who reached the spot immediately informed the police and started relief work. The injured passengers were pulled out of the emergency gate of the bus after a lot of effort.
Only screams were heard after the incident
The injured people were moaning in pain. Some lay on the side of the road and some in the field. Everyone was screaming in severe pain. After this, as soon as the ambulance arrived, everyone was sent to Dhanbad for treatment.
