United Kisan Morcha demands President's intervention

United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has appealed to President Ram Nath Kovind to withdraw the Agriculture Act. He has sought President's intervention to repeal three agricultural laws under Save Agriculture and Save Democracy. It was told on behalf of SKM that a memorandum will be sent to the President on June 26 regarding the anger and pain of farmers across the country. Also appealed to them to repeal the laws and give legal guarantee on MSP.

Delhi Police on high alert, security forces deployed outside metro stations

Tight security arrangements have been made in Delhi. Some metro stations will remain closed for a few hours. Security forces have also been deployed outside metro stations.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to keep its 3 metro stations closed from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. These include University, Civil Lines and Vidhan Sabha metro stations. According to DMRC, this decision has been taken between the advice and security of Delhi Police.
