The dream of building the state's third international cricket stadium in Bokaro will soon come true. An agreement has been signed between Jharkhand Cricket Association and SAIL's Bokaro Steel Plant for allotment of 30 acres of land on lease for the construction of stadium in Balidih, Bokaro. BSL's land lease agreement has been signed at Ballydih in Bokaro.
On this occasion, BSL director-in-charge Amarendu Prakash, former BCCI secretary and former ICC director Amitabh Choudhary, along with honorary president of Jharkhand State Cricket Association, Dr. Nafees Akhtar and Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan were present. After this lease agreement, now the land constraint for the stadium has been removed. The lease agreement has been signed between JSCA and the management of Bokaro Steel Plant at Bokaro Niwas. JSCA is talking about building the stadium very soon for further process.
The team of Jharkhand Cricket Association has already inspected the land identified for the construction of the proposed cricket stadium in Balidih, Bokaro. Earlier, while inspecting the ground in the presence of two architects from Kothari Associates of Delhi, the pitch and practice speech along with the pavilion in the stadium have been prepared for the players.

Bokaro MLA Viranchi Narayan said that 'everyone will benefit from the construction of this cricket stadium. The opposition of the displaced is also of a few people because everyone wants to build a stadium and develop Bokaro, so that good players from here can leave their mark at the national level and international level.
At the same time, Director Incharge of Bokaro Steel Plant Amarendra Shekhar said that 'BSL has given 30 acres of land on lease to become a cricket stadium. The construction of this stadium will give a boost to the game. Regarding the deadlock of the displaced, he said that every process has been done under the law.
The issue of land allotment is going on since 2016
The matter of allotment of land for the construction of cricket stadium in Bokaro is going on since 2016. At that time the district administration had proposed land in Satanpur Panchayat but due to forest land, the land was not allotted. Later in 2019, MLA Biranchi Narayan requested BSL to provide the land. In 2020, the process of land allotment got delayed due to the Corona epidemic. Now the screw of land allotment is almost over, so soon the third cricket stadium is going to be built in Bokaro.
Facilities like JSCA Stadium
Amitabh Chaudhary told that 'the capacity of this stadium will be about 25 thousand spectators'. He said that 'it will have all the facilities which are in the stadium of Ranchi. With the arrival of the stadium, Bokaro will also be visible on the cricket world map. This will be the third international cricket stadium in Jharkhand after Ranchi and Jamshedpur.
