Discharge the responsibilities by coordinating: DC (BOKARO)

 

On Saturday, Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Rajesh Singh held a meeting in his office room with the nodal officers of various cells constituted for the Chas Municipal Corporation elections. He asked the nodal officers of all the treasuries to coordinate with their subordinate personnel to execute the responsibilities of the treasury in time. Any negligence in this will not be tolerated. The Deputy Commissioner gave necessary guidelines related to the election to all the nodal officers.

 Deputy Development Commissioner Jaikishore Prasad, Additional Collector Sadat Anwar, Sub-Divisional Officer Chas Shashiprakash Singh, Deputy Election Officer, Municipal cum Land Acquisition Officer James Surin, Sub-Divisional Officer Bermo Ananth Kumar and nodal officers of all the cells were present in the meeting.

There will be 112 polling stations: The total number of wards in the municipal corporation area is 35. The total population of the region is 1,56,888. According to the voter list published in the year 2020, the total number of voters is 1,35,080, in which male voters are 73,311, female voters 61754 and other voters are 15. A total of 112 polling stations have been set up in 41 polling buildings for the successful conduct of polling.

 Bajragriha Krishi Bazar Samiti Chas has been made for EVM-VVPAT to be used in voting. The venue of the counting center will also remain the same.

Election Officers appointed: Election Officers have been appointed by the Election Cell for all the election posts. Deputy Development Commissioner Jaikishore Prasad for the post of Mayor, DRDA Director Mohd for the post of Deputy Mayor. Sadat Anwar, BDO Chas Sanjay Shandilya for Ward Councilor post (one to seven), CO Chas Dilip Kumar for Ward Councilor post (eight to 14), BDO Petarwar Shailendra Chaurasia for Ward Councilor post (15 to 21), Ward Councilor CO Bermo Manoj Kumar for the post (22 to 28) and CO Chandrapura Sandeep Kumar for the post of ward councilor (29 to 35) has been made the election officer.
