The people of Bokaro got the hope from the GRAHAN web series, said – may be compensation should be given only through this film.

 Bokaro: Bokaro is once again in the headlines through the web series 'Grahan Web series'. The filming of the 1984 Sikh riots victim has been done through this eclipse film where Bokaro is also mentioned. People of the country and the world want to know Bokaro.

Bokaro Steel Plant is known as the second largest steel plant in Asia, but after the arrival of this web series, now people want to know about this city as well.

During the 1984 Sikh riots, about 89 Sikh families were in the grip of this riot. After which many commissions have been formed. The families of those who lost their lives in this riot also got jobs and compensation from the government. But many such families still exist who have not got jobs and compensation. Those whose families had not suffered any loss of life but their houses were looted, goods were looted. Even today, when those families remember that day, tears come out.

Some families still live in Sardar Colony of Dundi Bagh, who are afraid of being destroyed at any time. Their demands have been that they should also get compensation and some shelter for their family. According to the victims, many times commissions were formed, many times there were investigations, many times people came to investigate but some were given compensation and jobs and many such families are still deprived who are waiting for compensation.

Now people are hoping that Bokaro is in discussion these days, even if it is through the film Grahan, and due to this web series, perhaps the government should take care of them once again and being kind to them, the remaining people can get compensation and rehabilitation. According to the victims, their relatives used to work in HSCL plant including Bokaro Steel Plant.
