Administration should give proper wages to laborers on time: President

               

Bokaro: The Question Hour and Calling Attention Committee of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, chaired by Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren, held a meeting with the Bokaro officials on Thursday. The ongoing development works were reviewed in the meeting. In this, the action taken by various departments was reviewed in the light of the district and state level questions raised in the Vidhan Sabha. Bokaro consisted of three questions. Apart from this, the issue of wages of laborers working in Bokaro Steel Plant arose.

 The chairman of the committee constituted a district level committee and directed to investigate the payment of wages to the laborers working in the BSL plant. On this Deputy Commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary nominated SDM Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat. At the same time, talked to the officials of the Health Department regarding the corona infection. In front of the committee, Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, MLA of Kasmar Water Supply Scheme Dr. Lambodar Mahato and former MLA Late Mr. Rajendra Singh also discussed the matter of Engineering College in Petarwar with the concerned.

 At the same time, in view of the corona, the chairman of the committee also inquired about the city scan machine, radiologist, pathology, ICU etc. in Bokaro Sadar Hospital. In this regard, Civil Surgeon Dr. Pathak apprised about the status of Sadar Hospital. Committee members Dashrath Gagrai, Vikas Kumar Munda, Samri Lal and Khijri MLA Rajesh Kashyap, Biranchi Narayan, Deputy Commissioner Kuldeep Choudhary, SP Chandan Kumar Jha, Additional Municipal Commissioner Anil Kumar Singh, officers of various departments of the district were present in the meeting.
