Corona in the country: 38,319 new patients were found, 38,521 were cured and 501 died; Death toll less than 600 for 5 consecutive days

 

The number of new corona patients and recoveries in the country is almost constant. The report of 38,319 patients has come positive in the last 24 hours. 38,521 were cured and 501 lost their lives. It is a matter of relief that the death toll has remained less than 600 for the fifth consecutive day. Earlier on July 13, 625 people lost their lives due to this epidemic. Now 4.49 lakh patients are being treated in the country.

Restrictions like lockdown in 8 states

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 8 states of the country. These include West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs

There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.

Major states

1. Kerala

On Sunday, 13,956 people were found infected here. 13,613 people were cured and 81 people died. So far 31.60 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 30.20 lakh people have been cured, while 15,350 people have died. Presently 1.25 lakh patients are being treated.

2. Maharashtra

9,000 people were found infected here on Sunday. 8,950 people were cured and 180 people died. So far 62.14 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 59.80 lakh people have been cured, while 1.27 lakh people have died. Presently 1.03 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

3. Uttar Pradesh

25 people were found infected here on Sunday. 69 people were cured and 6 died. So far, more than 17.07 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.83 lakh have been cured, while 22,721 patients have died. 1,260 patients are being treated here.

4. Delhi

In Delhi, 51 people were found corona positive on Sunday and 80 people were cured. So far 14.35 lakh people have come under the grip of infection here. Of these, more than 14.09 lakh people have been cured, while 25,027 patients have died. 592 patients are being treated here.

5. Rajasthan

Here on Sunday 26 people were found corona infected and 49 people were cured and one died. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.43 lakh people have been cured, while 8,950 patients have died. Presently 472 patients are undergoing treatment.

6. Gujarat

33 people were found corona positive in the state on Sunday. During this, 71 people also recovered and one died. So far, about 8.24 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.13 lakh people have been cured, while 10,076 patients have died. Treatment of 493 infected is going on here.

7. Madhya Pradesh

On Sunday, 18 new cases were reported and 20 were cured. So far 7.91 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.80 lakh people have been cured, while 10,512 people died. 219 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
