India tour of Sri Lanka: Indian players having fun in the swimming pool after the end of the quarantine period; First ODI will be played on July 13
The Indian team is enjoying in Colombo before the ODI series against Sri Lanka. All 20 players, including captain Shikhar Dhawan and vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar, were seen having fun in the swimming pool on Thursday. The team has to play a 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka from July 13. After this, the team will also play a 3-match T20 series.
BCCI also shared its picture. He wrote in its caption – Happy to come out of Quarantine. There is laughter everywhere. BCCI will release a video of it soon. This post got a lot of love from the fans. Fans have wished the team all the best for the Sri Lanka series. Bharti spinner Yuzvendra Chahal also shared a group photo with Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Bhuvneshwar, Kuldeep and Dhawan.
Sharing the photo, Suryakumar wrote, Chilling in the pool with the rest of the boys. No senior players have been selected for India's tour of Sri Lanka. Only 20 white ball specialist players have been kept in the team. Dhawan was given the captaincy.
The Indian team reached Sri Lanka only on 28 June. Earlier, he was quarantined for 7 days in Mumbai itself. In Sri Lanka, he had to go through a strict quarantine of 3 days. They were not even allowed to meet each other and work out. His quarantine period ended on 1 July.
Senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumraj are currently on the tour of England. Coach Ravi Shastri is also on a tour of England with Virat & Co. In such a situation, former cricketer and current director of National Cricket Academy, Rahul Dravid has been sent on this tour as a coach.
