License to start commercial flight service from Bokaro soon

 

Application for license will be given to the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) next week to start air service from Bokaro airport. After getting its approval, commercial flight service will be started at Bokaro airport. At present, the expansion work of the airport is nearing completion.

While inspecting the Bokaro airport on Friday, DCAS officers RD Kaur and Ashok Lakra took stock of the security standards and gave necessary instructions to the officials. In this regard, Vinod Sharma, Director of Ranchi Airport said that all the process of starting flight service from Bokaro airport is being completed. At present, CCTV cameras, scanners and other equipment have been installed in the security standards. Along with this, standards have also been set regarding all the security arrangements of the airport along with the security officers. According to officials, commercial flight service from Bokaro to Patna and Kolkata will start by October. For this the whole process is almost complete.

Better service, industries will grow: With the start of commercial flight from Bokaro airport, not only will Bokaro's business grow, but many small and big industries will also develop. At present, the expansion of industry in Bokaro is not possible due to lack of air connectivity, despite having adequate infrastructure in Bokaro. Not only this, people living in metros outside Bokaro do not want to invest in Bokaro just because Bokaro does not have air connectivity. But in the coming time the situation of Bokaro will change completely. With the start of air service in Bokaro, not only will investment increase, but industrial expansion will also be possible in Bokaro.

Hundreds of people travel every day: Every day more than 100 people from Bokaro city and other areas move towards Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and other metros. For this, Bokaro residents reach Ranchi and Kolkata airports by train and other means and from there they proceed towards their designated places. Due to which not only they have to face trouble. But you have to pay extra rent. Not only this, those who want to come to Bokaro from outside, they do not want to come to Bokaro due to lack of air connectivity.
