SAIL got 368 new officers, 143 came in BSL's account

Bokaro: 368 new officers have been selected for the post of Management Trainee in Maharatna Company Cell. Of these, 143 officers have come in the account of Bokaro Steel Plant. The paper process and medical examination of the selected officers will be done from July 26 to July 31. After this, on August 2, he will assume his post in BSL. In order to overcome the shortage of manpower in different units of the company including SAIL Management Bokaro Steel Plant, in the year 2019, the restoration of Management Training Trade (MTT) was done through GATE. 

Where many candidates from different states of the country had applied. After the submission of the application, the written examination of the applicants was done in the year 2019 itself, but in the year 2020, when the process of interview etc. was about to start, the matter got hanged due to Corona. Meanwhile, in the management written examination, the successful candidates were interviewed online this year and their merit list was issued. Where 368 officers have been selected in the entire cell and 143 officers have been selected in BSL.

2. Electrical : 94

3. Matology: 65

4. Chemical : 27

5. Instrumentation : 25

6. Mining: 18

Facility of Sodexo Meal Pass in lieu of canteen allowance in BSL Jagran Correspondent, 

Bokaro:-Bokaro Steel Plant Management has restored the facility of Sodexo Meal Pass to the workers in lieu of their daily canteen allowance. Under the scheme, plant workers have been given the option of taking a meal pass equivalent to the said amount in place of their daily canteen allowance of Rs 32, so that they can purchase material at different establishments in the market. In lieu of this, they will be able to save from nine hundred to 27 hundred rupees annually in the head of income tax.

 The Management has tied up with M/s Sodexo SVC India Private Limited Company to provide better service of Meal Pass to the employees. It is known that the company management pays about Rs.960 per month to the plant workers as canteen allowance. Plant workers can now take Sodexo Meal Pass in lieu of this amount, but the amount of their canteen allowance will be stopped as soon as they take the service of Sodexo Meal Pass.
