Corona in the country: 34,288 new cases were found on the last day, 376 people died; Death toll so low after 11 days

 

On Friday, 34,288 corona cases were found in the country and 36,248 people were cured. During this 376 patients died. After 11 days, the death toll has come down so low. So far more than 4.33 lakh people have lost their lives. 57 new cases were found in the capital Delhi on the last day. After 12 days this number is so high. So far 14.37 lakh people have been infected here.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs

There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.

Major states

1. Kerala

On Friday, 20,224 people were found infected here. 17,142 people were cured and 99 people died. So far 37.86 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 35.84 lakh people have been cured, while 19,345 people have died. Presently 1.82 lakh patients are being treated.

2. Maharashtra

On Friday, 4,365 people were found infected here. 6,384 people were cured and 105 people died. So far 64.15 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 62.21 lakh people have been cured, while 1.35 lakh people have died. At present 555,454 patients are undergoing treatment.

3. Delhi

57 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Friday. During this, 46 people were cured. So far 14.37 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 14.11 lakh people have been cured, while 25,079 patients have died. 459 patients are being treated here.

4. Uttar Pradesh

On Friday, 26 people were found infected here. During this 23 people were cured, while 2 patients died. So far, more than 17.09 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.85 lakh have been cured, while 22,791 patients have died. 408 patients are being treated here.

5. Gujarat

On Friday, 17 people were found corona positive here. 14 patients recovered. So far, about 8.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 8.15 lakh people have been cured, while 10,078 patients have died. Treatment of 186 infected is going on here.

6. Madhya Pradesh

On Friday, 8 new cases were reported here and 8 patients were cured. So far 7.92 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.81 lakh people have been cured, while 10,515 people died. 95 patients are currently undergoing treatment.

7. Rajasthan

On Friday, 14 people were found corona infected here. During this 12 patients were cured. So far 9.53 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.44 lakh people have been cured, while 8,954 patients have died. Presently 155 patients are undergoing treatment.
