Rain alert at many places in 19 districts: Heavy rain warning in Madhubani, Banka and Bhagalpur, light to moderate rain at one or two places in 19 districts including Patna

The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain with thunder in 3 districts of Bihar. There is a warning of light to moderate rain in 19 districts of North Bihar. Whereas, light to moderate rain is forecast at one or two places in 19 districts of South Bihar including Patna. The Meteorological Department has asked people to be careful during inclement weather in Madhubani, Banka and Bhagalpur.

The mood of the weather is changing like this

According to the Meteorological Department, the western part of the monsoon trough is passing through the Himalayas and the eastern part is moving from southeast to east central Bay of Bengal via Hardoi, Patna, Jamshedpur, Paradip. Due to this weather, a big impact is being seen in Bihar too. The chances of rain are high in the foothills of the Himalayas, while no major rain system is active in the southern part.

Alert in 19 districts regarding rain

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the active weather system, North Bihar's West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Sheohar, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are forecast at isolated places over Purnia, Katihar.

On the other hand, light rain and thundershower occurred at one or two places in Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal, Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger and Khagaria in South Bihar. There will be moderate rain. However, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain and thundershowers in Madhubani, Bhagalpur, Banka.

No relief from heat

There is no respite from the heat. People are troubled by the scorching heat. The people of 19 districts, including Patna in the south, are suffering from the heat due to lack of heavy rains even in the monsoon. The Meteorological Department says that it is raining a little due to heat and humidity, but the monsoon rains are not happening in South Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain in Patna on Monday was also due to local reasons. In the coming 48 hours, from Patna to 19 districts, there may be rain due to local reasons.
