BSL's cash collection record 2792.86 crores :- BOKARO

 

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) not only achieved record cash collection in August but also achieved its target.

This time SAIL has set a record by collecting more than 9780 crore cash. In which Bokaro Steel Plant has collected the highest cash collection of 2792.86 crores. With this, Bhilai Steel Plant stood second by collecting 2275.12 crores in cash. Rourkela Steel Plant is at number three. RSP has achieved cash collection of 2272.16 crores.

 With this, IISCO Steel Plant has earned 1085.52 crore cash. Alloy Steel Plant has collected 53.90 crores, Salem Steel Plant 232.02 crores, Visvesvaraya Steel Plant has collected 26.03 crores in cash.

Meeting regarding wage revision will be held on 7th September: A meeting will be held in New Delhi on 7th September regarding wage revision in various steel plants of SAIL including Bokaro Steel Plant. In which the wage revision of workers is to be discussed. Along with this, discussion on bonus is also expected in the same meeting. In the absence of agreement on the issue of wage revision, other issues of SAIL workers are currently out of the discussion.

 On June 30, the aggrieved workers also went on a one-day strike at the plant due to non-revision of wage. After which the SAIL management has once again called the union leaders for talks after a long time. Meanwhile, along with the cash collection of all the steel plants of SAIL, production will also be discussed.
