During this, he told that for the preliminary examination of JPSC, 79 examination centers will be set up in the district. Around 36,000 candidates will appear in this examination.


In this meeting, Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Jha, Deputy Development Commissioner Jaikishore Prasad, Additional Collector Sadat Anwar, Sub-Divisional Officer Chas Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Sub-Divisional Officer Bermo, Tenughat Anant Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Anil Kumar Singh, Education Officer Neelam Allen in the district meeting Toppo, District Transport Officer Sanjeev Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Rahul Kumar Bharti, all Block Development Officers and Circle Circle Officers, in-charge of 79 schools and others were present.


The Seventh (2017), 8th (2018), 9th (2019) and 10th (2020) Civil Services Preliminary Examination (PT) will be conducted by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) on 19th September in two shifts. The first shift exam will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. There will be General Studies (Paper I) in the first shift and General Studies (Paper II) in the second shift.


The candidates who appeared in the examination can download the admit card from the website of the commission from September 4. Along with this, the guidelines issued for the examination and the attendance sheet can also be downloaded. Admit card will not be sent to any candidate by post. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth.


In case of any difficulty in downloading the admit card, one can contact the commission's helpline numbers 9431301419 and 9431301636 from 11 am to 5 pm till September 18. The list of rejected candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission on September 4. The candidates have to follow the Corona guidelines during the exam.

 Along with this, a self-declaration letter related to Kovid will also have to be brought along. Apart from this, it will be necessary to bring two self attested color photographs and photo identity card to the examination center.


The commission had received five lakh applications for appointment to 252 posts. After scrutiny, about 3 lakh 69 thousand applications were found eligible. Examination centers have been set up in all the 24 districts of the state. The exam will be taken on OMR sheet. Only blue ball point pen is to be used. Mobile phones including electronic gadgets, calculators etc are prohibited in the examination centre. 

Must reach the examination center half an hour before the scheduled time. The handicapped candidate must submit the application and certificate three days before the commencement of the examination. Everyone has to wear mask. Drinking water is allowed in transparent bottles.
