The process of recruitment of new personnel is going on continuously in Bokaro Steel Plant, which is facing shortage of manpower. In this sequence, the written examination result of the candidates for the post of Operator cum Technician OTT Boiler in BSL was released on Wednesday. The exam was conducted on 21st September 2021.

In this sequence, the written examination result of the candidates for the post of Operator cum Technician OTT Boiler in BSL was released on Wednesday. The exam was conducted on 21st September 2021. A total of 30 candidates have been included in the merit list for 10 posts. Their skill test will be taken in two shifts from 9 am to 5 pm on October 26 at the Human Resource Development Center of BSL. In this, after medical examination of successful candidates and verification of educational documents, they will be given appointment letter for permanent reinstatement in S-3 grade in the company by the end of the year.

MTT contribution date extended: SAIL management has insisted on reinstatement of both the cadres to maintain balance between employees and officers in the company. That is why the management had set a target of selecting 143 management trainees in BSL along with ATT and OCT by the end of this year.

 Of these, only 94 MTTs have contributed to the BSL as of 2 August 2021. The other post is still vacant, while a total of 368 candidates were selected for this post in the written examination. Candidates who could not contribute to BSL by the due date due to any reason, have been given the last time till November 8, 2021 to contribute again. Even if they do not report to the Management within the stipulated time, their appointment will be treated as cancelled. It is to be known that earlier, skill test of 291 candidates for total 95 posts of Operator cum Technician Training (OTT) in SAIL has been taken from last 4 to 9 October at Human Resource Development Center. Their medical examination and academic documents will be checked by the end of this month. After this, by the end of the year, more than 300 officers and employees of Bokaro Steel Plant will be given permanent appointment letters.
