SAIL-Bokaro Day Boarding Volleyball Center opened in Shibutand

The Day Boarding Volleyball Center of SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant at Shibutand village, adjacent to the city, was inaugurated by Sameer Swarup, Executive Director (Personnel and Administration), BSL.

Dignitaries and villagers of Shibutand area were also present in large numbers on the occasion of the inauguration. The Day Boarding Volleyball Center opened by BSL at Shibutand has all facilities for the players. At present, 19 local children have been selected for the Day Boarding Volleyball Centre.

 They will be coached by BSL's international volleyball coach Jaideep Sarkar. Free playing kit and volleyball have been provided to all the players by BSL. Along with this, arrangements have also been made for their nutritious food. Other necessary facilities at Day Boarding Volleyball Center have also been developed by BSL.

Chief Guest Sameer Swarup expressed confidence that this initiative of BSL would help the sports talents of Shibutand and surrounding rural areas to grow and make their mark at national and international level. Dignitaries of Shibutand region also appreciated this initiative of BSL.
