Bokaro: The Health Department has once again swung into action regarding the third wave of Corona. After the Omicron variant of Corona created a stir in foreign countries, now the Health Department of Bokaro has become alert after the instructions of the government. The shortcomings felt in the second wave have almost been rectified. Corona investigation will be started for people coming from other states. The situation in the district is being monitored by the Health Department officials.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh said that instructions have been given to expedite the corona vaccination campaign in the district. There was a decrease in the speed of vaccination in the festival, but now the vaccination campaign is being run at a rapid pace. Said that the third wave of the corona has to be stopped before it spreads. Taking lessons from past mistakes, instructions have been issued to the officers and employees of the Health Department to be vigilant.

Told that experts say that the new variant of Corona can be very dangerous. In such a situation, people need to be very careful. Strictly follow the guidelines issued by the government. People coming from abroad must get themselves tested. in order to prevent the spread of infection. Let us inform you that eight cases of corona infection are active in the Bokaro district.

What is the preparation to fight infection: 100 oxygen-supported beds have been made by Vedanta in the library grounds. Oxygen-supported ICU and CCU, pediatric beds, etc. have also been made in Sadar Hospital, Bokaro General Hospital, and ANM Training Center. Work has been done regarding the supply of oxygen through pipes at PSA Oxygen Plant in Sadar Hospital, Bermo, and Jainmod. To prevent the third wave, along with continuous testing, the focus is on isolating the infected and treating them. People are also being made aware of following the corona protocol by the government.

72 percent took corona vaccine dose:

Corona vaccination is currently on its pace. In Bokaro district, about 72 percent of people have been given at least the first dose of the corona vaccine. 51 percent of the first and 21 percent of the people have been given the second dose of the corona vaccine. Here, the Health Department is claiming to meet the target set in the district by the end of December.

The test will be done at interstate check posts:

Testing of Kovid samples will be regularized at all inter-state check posts (Chandankiari and Chas). For this shift, a wise team will be deployed. A team of eight-eight-hour shifts will be formed. The Magistrate will be deputed at the check posts. Regular monitoring of sampling will be done from the district level.
