AKB NEWS - Bokaro: Under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Jha, a meeting was held with the ryots regarding the expansion of the Dalmia cement factory in the auditorium of the Collectorate. On this occasion Regional Director Jiyada Kritishree, Deputy Development Commissioner Jai Kishore Prasad, AC Sadat Anwar, SDM Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, and representatives of Dalmia Cement were present. In the meeting, the obstacles being faced in the expansion of the Dalmia Cement factory were discussed sequentially. Company representatives said that the plant is to be expanded on 15.7 acres of land. 44 plots are being taken for this. The ryots associated with the plot are getting stuck in the work being done by the company.

On this, other senior officers including the superintendent of police took their side from the ryots. Said that there would be no discrimination of any kind. The district administration will extend all possible cooperation in meeting all the demands of the ryots.

Company representatives said that the expansion of the factory will increase employment opportunities. Only local people will get employment, at present only local people have been engaged in the construction of the boundary wall of the factory. Whatever decision the management has taken, it will fulfill what it has promised to the ryots.

On this occasion, the Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Officer, etc. assisted the ryots in maintaining law and order. The district administration will extend full cooperation to all of you. The SP said that a separate meeting will be held on the ground issue related to Dalmia Cement, which has nothing to do with the detail at the moment.

Significantly, on December 6, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will lay the foundation stone for the expansion of the factory. The company is going to increase the production of 2 million tonnes of cement in the plant's capacity by investing 500 crores.
