The effect of frost has increased due to fog across the district. People are facing a lot of trouble throughout the day due to the minimum temperature dropping to around 13 degrees and cold winds blowing. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop further from Saturday. Due to which the frost will increase further for the last one week. Due to frost, people are disappearing from the market and the streets in the evening. Visibility was very low due to dense fog in the morning. Due to this, a very fewer number people reached the Naya Mod bus stand than on other days. The movement of people was almost negligible in Chas and other markets including the city center, the main business place of the city.
Children reaching school chilling due to cold: Despite the increasing cold across the district, the time has not been changed in private schools of Bokaro city. Due to which school students are facing a lot of trouble these days. Parents are also facing problems due to non-change in school timings.
Bus operations affected: Buses for Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Giridih have also been affected by the Naya Mod bus stop. Due to the cold, till 8 o'clock in the day on Friday, only a few people reached the bus stand due to less movement of other small vehicles including autos.
Take care of patients: Elderly and diabetic patients have to face a lot of trouble in the increasing cold. They should take special care about this. According to Dr. Sanjay Kumar, the elderly should avoid fried food. Also, hot water should be consumed. Not only this, but diabetic patients also need to take special care of their diet.
