Good news: Production started from the second unit of TTPS closed for months due to coal crisis, now 325 MW is being produced

AKB News: After facing a coal crisis arising out of low coal production first due to arrears and then rains, finally the second unit of Tenughat Thermal Power Station (TTPS), the most important PSU of the Jharkhand government, was shut down. for months. Production has started from Friday.

Unit 1 was lit at 4 am on Friday, from which production started at around 12.30 pm. Thus, now both the units of the plant are producing. About 325 MW of electricity was being generated from both the units. In which 155 MW of power was being generated from unit one and 170 MW from unit two.

Only one of the two units of the plant was producing since the last week of April. That is, one unit remained closed for the last 8 months. During this, the management also got the necessary maintenance work done in the units. With which emphasis will be given on smooth production. Now TVNL, as well as JUVNL, will benefit from the production of both units.

According to sources, if the supply of coal is smooth and funds are available on time, then production will be done smoothly. There is a wave of happiness in the management due to production from both the units of TTPS. MD TVNL Anil Kumar Sharma was constantly striving in this direction. Despite the severe coal crisis, production from the only operational unit was not allowed to be disrupted under his able leadership.

It is to be known that due to outstanding dues of crores of rupees, CCL had stopped the supply of coal from April 7. Later, after making a one-time payment of 50 crores from the management, one rake of coal was being supplied daily. To carry under cash. Even after this, crores of rupees were paid out of the arrears. But, right after that, due to rain, CCL faced a problem in the dispatch of coal. Due to which the supply was interrupted, but the MD Mr. Sharma, sensing the situation, kept in constant touch with the CCL officers of the corporate headquarters and kept the supply of coal smooth. Now the management is feeling relieved with the commencement of production from both units.

Production started from the second unit which stopped for months: Anil Kumar Sharma

TVNL MD Anil Kumar Sharma told that the second unit, which was closed after months, has also been attached to the production. On Thursday, two rakes of coal were received and on Saturday also two rakes of coal would come. Similarly, if coal remains uninterruptedly available, both the units will continue to be produced smoothly. Timely payment in lieu of power supply will also help.
