Uranium worth 18 crores recovered from Bokaro, now the police is looking for its international connection
According to the SP, the arrested smugglers were looking for a customer to sell uranium, but before that the police got to know about it. And by taking action, seven smugglers including uranium were caught.
Bokaro Police got a big success on Thursday. Police arrested 7 people with 7 kg uranium. According to the information, the police had received secret information on Tuesday that some people are present in Rajendra Nagar of Balidih police station area with uranium. Police raided Rajendra Nagar and caught a young man named Hareram Sharma. After raiding at different places on the clues received from him, 7 kg of uranium and 6 other youths were arrested. Police is questioning everyone.
International connection investigation
The police is also probing the international connections of the arrested youths with nexus with militants and terrorists. The market value of the seized uranium has been estimated at Rs 18 crore. Among the arrested smugglers are Pankaj Kumar, resident of Chaufand of Harla, Deepak Mahto, resident of Purnatand, Mahavir Mahto alias Balram Mahato, resident of Chitahi, Hareram Sharma, resident of Rajendra Nagar, Balidih, Bapi Chandra resident of Chas Main Road, Krishnakant Rana of Chiarachas and residents of Jainmod Phusro Road Sabzi Mandi Gali. Anil Singh is involved.
SP Chandan Kumar Jha said that 7 smugglers have been arrested with 7 kg uranium after raiding different places. All the smugglers have been sent to jail. The recovered uranium will be examined in the laboratory.
Case registered under Atomic Energy Act

And by taking action, smugglers including uranium were caught. A case has been registered in this case under the Atomic Energy Act at Harla police station. The police team was taking action in this matter for the last three days.
