Nitish will meet Modi to demand caste census, leaders of 10 political parties will also be with him
Leaders of 10 parties of the state, led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11 am today to demand a caste census. Modi will meet a delegation of 11 members in the PMO. These include RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, JDU's Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, BJP's Khan Geology Minister Janak Ram, Congress leader Ajit Sharma, CPI (ML) leader Mehboob Alam, AIMIM's Akhtarul Iman, former Chief Minister and Hum supremo Jitan Ram Manjhi, VIP. Chief Mukesh Sahni, CPI leader Suryakant Paswan and CPM leader Ajay Kumar are involved.

Former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh's last rites today
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will be cremated on the banks of Ganga today. His body will be taken to his native village Marhauli via Atrauli at around 9 am. Kalyan Singh was born in this village and this is his ancestral home. Here the body will be kept for some time for the last darshan of the villagers at his house. After this the last journey will leave for Ganga Ghat located in Narora town of Bulandshahr district. There he will be cremated.
Infosys MD and CEO Parekh to appear today
The Finance Ministry has issued summons to Salil Parekh, MD and CEO of technology company Infosys. On August 23, Salil Parekh has been called to explain why the problems related to the new income tax e-filing portal have not been resolved even after 2.5 months of its launch. This website made with Rs 4241 crore was launched on 7 June.
Since then it has been facing many problems. It is made by Infosys. The new portal of Income Tax is not available for filing Income Tax Return from 21st August 2021. Due to this people are facing problems.
