Bokaro: Under the new education policy, knowledge of basic numbers will be given to every student up to class three studying in government schools. They will be proficient in reading, writing, and effective communication. Children will be involved in activities like project work, quiz, role play, oral-written presentation. Work will also be done in the direction of understanding and expressing the feelings of the children, teamwork, physical development, etc. 

Efforts will be made to improve pre-schooling under Foundational Literacy and Numeracy. The work of implementing this scheme on the ground is being done by the department. The State Project Director of Jharkhand Education Project Council has sent a letter to the District Education Officer and DSE. It states that the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy program has been started by the Ministry of Education, Government of India for the children of classes one to three.

On this program, Nishtha-FLN 3.0 training program has been started with the objective of ensuring all-around development and continuous capacity building of teachers teaching in primary and upper primary classes.

• Training will be given to teachers of primary and upper primary classes:

Training will be given to the teachers of all primary and upper primary classes. Four master trainers from each block will be trained at the state level. Master trainers will give training to two teachers each from primary and upper primary schools in their block. All training will be completed by February 2022. The process will be started for the selection of block-wise master trainers in the district.

 In the selection of Master Trainer, preference may be given to the trainers who have worked in the loyalty training conducted earlier on the basis of their experience. Teachers who appear to be lax will not be selected. Trainers are to be selected in such a way that they are always available to their group.

• Projector and sound equipment required in training room:

It is important to take care of the quality of the training site. There will be the provision of the laptop, projector, sound equipment, board, etc. in each training room. A nodal officer will be appointed to manage and monitor the training site. Guidelines related to Kovid 19 will be followed during the training.

• 1422 schools 2844 teachers will be given training:

Training will be given to 2844 teachers of 1422 primary and upper primary schools of Bokaro district. Under the new education policy, the ability to read and write will be developed in children under the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy program. Under the new education policy, knowledge of basic numbers will be given to every student up to class three studying in government schools.

 They will be proficient in reading, writing, and effective communication. Children will be involved in activities like project work, quiz, role play, oral, written presentation. For this training will be given to the teachers of all primary and upper primary classes. Under this scheme, basic education will be strengthened.
